Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Art Director – Social Content to join the creative team on a full-time basis. In this senior managerial role, you will collaborate with the Brand Art Director to conceptualize and execute social advertising and graphic design projects that translate complex scientific and educational ideas into engaging, on-brand, trend-forward visual content.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social graphic design combined with hands-on art direction experience. You think holistically about design — from typography and photo assets to motion graphics and system-wide visual strategies. Your proficiency in design execution is matched by your ability to lead concept development, ensuring creative solutions resonate across social platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative social ad campaigns and graphic content that simplify scientific concepts while maintaining brand integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Brand Art Director, Creative Director, and Video Lead to ensure cohesive visual storytelling.
• Lead the creative process from ideation through final execution across multiple formats including static, motion, and system-based designs.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables while mentoring junior designers as needed.
• Stay current with design trends and social media best practices to keep our visual presence fresh and competitive.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social graphic design combined with art direction roles.
• Exceptional design skills with a strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and executional excellence.
• Ability to translate complex scientific or educational content into clear, engaging visuals.
