Global Partners LP is hiring: Sandwich Artist in Charlestown

Overview

Position: Sandwich Artist at Global Partners LP.

Greet guests, prepare products, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and handle light paperwork. Exceptional guest service is a major component of this position.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing orders.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them accurately to guests.
• Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record orders and collect payment; perform cash handling procedures.
• Prepare food neatly, according to formulas, and in a timely manner.
• Check products in the sandwich unit area and restock to ensure sufficient supply throughout the shift.
• Adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during preparation, service and cleanup.
• Maintain a clean restaurant environment to promote a positive image.
• Follow cleaning methods and quality standards as outlined in company operations manuals; maintain professional appearance and grooming.
• Perform light paperwork duties as assigned; complete required courses as directed.

Prerequisites

• Education: Some high school or equivalent.
• Experience & Skills: No previous experience required. Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
• Physical: Ability to work in any area of the restaurant; operate a computerized Point of Sale system; stand, bend, and walk during the shift. Lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
