Base pay range

$132,480.00/yr - $220,680.00/yr

What You Will Do

  • Audience Strategy, Development & Builds
    • Help internal teams think holistically for how available data and technology can best support insight, targeting, media and campaign goals.
    • Assess available 1P data in Media and MarTech platforms to provide strategic audience recommendations, define and build addressable audiences.
    • Map existing and design new communication strategies based on insights and marketing technology capabilities.
  • Media Strategy & Investment Planning
    • Link business strategy to communications strategy and optimal media investment recommendations.
    • Consult on multi-touch attribution and marketing mix models to optimize channel mix, spend, flighting and return on ad spend.
    • Work with measurement and analytics to set learning agenda, develop tests to gather learnings with the intention to measure effectiveness, discover opportunities, find efficiencies, and reduce overlap.
  • Drive Innovation & Newness
    • Collaborate with Brand, Merchant & Corporate Strategy teams to design and ignite new programs and ways of working within the Macy’s ecosystem.
    • Develop a strategic roadmap for innovation investments and explorations.
    • Advise on opportunities to participate in Metaverse and Web3 projects.

    • Business Acumen & Leadership: Strong business sense with proven leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams.
    • Strategic Thinking & Attention to Detail: Ability to balance big-picture strategy with meticulous execution.
    • Collaboration & Solution Orientation: Highly collaborative and solutions-focused with the ability to build productive relationships across marketing functions.
    • Clear Communication & Executive Presence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to produce high-quality decks and present to senior marketing leaders.
    • Process Mapping & Workflow Simplification: Translate complex workflows into clear, structured, and easy-to-follow solutions.
    • Data Storytelling & Strategic Insight: Synthesize large data sets into strategic narratives that support brand objectives and business impact.
    • CDPs & Audience Technology: Hands-on experience with CDPs and audience platforms; familiarity with media attribution and media mix modeling.
    • Ecommerce & Digital Ecosystem Knowledge: Understanding of ecommerce operations, site structure, taxonomy, workflows, and media networks.
  • Who You Are
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field is encouraged.
