Overview

Coordinator, Multiplatform Media – FIFA World Cup coverage at NBCUniversal. The role supports the promotional rollout and live coverage across NBCUniversal Spanish-language platforms (Telemundo and Universo), coordinating across Linear, VOD, Digital (.COM), and Live Streaming to deliver assets that align with brand and event goals. This position requires operational precision, cross-functional communication, and a passion for world-class sports broadcasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Media Production & Asset Management
    • Manage and execute production orders with producers, editors, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of promotional assets across platforms.
    • Maintain and organize the promotional asset library in the scheduling system, including assigning house numbers and tracking primary/alternate promos aligned with FIFA event strategy.
    • Coordinate with Affiliate Marketing to prioritize daily distribution of promotional content to O&O stations and affiliate partners.
  • Scheduling & Strategic Implementation
    • Execute multiplatform promotional strategies including secondary elements (snipes, bugs, end credit squeeze backs) based on guidance from media planning leads.
    • Upload and manage media elements for .COM and Live Streaming platforms, aligning with live match windows, countdowns, and highlight packages.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Training
    • Act as a central communication hub among Creative Services, Scheduling, and Sales Ops to ensure smooth campaign execution.
    • Crosstrain on both Telemundo and Universo coordination workflows to provide reliable backup support and operational flexibility during high-demand FIFA coverage periods.
  • Operational Excellence & Troubleshooting
    • Troubleshoot discrepancies in promotional asset delivery or scheduling.
    • Ensure all promotional elements meet broadcast standards and are QC-approved for on-air and digital release.

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications
    • Knowledge of linear traffic systems: Sintec On-Air
    • 2-3 years of experience in Media Planning or Operations
    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably concentrating in marketing, advertising, communications, or related fields
