Overview

Job Title: Ecumenical Music Director/Accompanist
Location: Malmstrom AFB Chapel, Great Falls, Montana

Responsibilities

• Provide piano accompaniment and music direction for weekly Catholic and Protestant services and rehearsals (minimum two services and two rehearsals weekly)
• Direct music for up to 14 annual special services and 6 funeral/memorial services
• Coordinate with chaplains for music selection and rehearsal scheduling
• Recruit and train volunteer musicians
• Submit music selections weekly and rehearsal schedules monthly

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a worship music setting (Catholic or Protestant), with leadership preferred
• Skilled in piano accompaniment, music arrangement, and sight reading
• Ability to work respectfully in a diverse, interfaith environment
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
