Location: Raleigh, NC

Salary: $97,750.00-$120,750.00

Responsibilities

  • Plan studies and conduct research studies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand research questions.
  • Understand user needs through a variety of research methodologies.
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into findings and insights.
  • Clearly communicate recommendations to improve the user experience and usefulness of products.
  • Work with designers to iterate and test solutions.
  • Keep up to date on what is happening in the market and with competitors.
  • Recruit participants for studies.

Required qualifications

  • Experience with user research methods such as usability testing, interviews and surveys.
  • Ability to lead small to medium projects independently.
  • Experience with a survey tool such as surveymonkey.com or Qualtrics.
  • Ability to prioritize research findings based on the research questions and strategic importance.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Preferred qualifications

  • Suggested years of experience: 2-4 years
  • Degree in human factors, psychology, anthropology, human geography or other relevant subject area.
  • Experience researching AI products and using AI to assist with research.
  • Understanding of the Jobs to Be Done framework.
  • Understanding of the U.S. legal system.
