• Architect, design, and develop complex Android component libraries using Jetpack Compose and Kotlin, ensuring robust, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
• Leverage Jetpack Compose to build modern, declarative UIs. Transition existing UI elements to Jetpack Compose and optimize UI for performance and responsiveness.
• Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end services and maintain consistency in design and functionality.
• Write unit tests, UI tests, and perform debugging and troubleshooting to ensure apps are of the highest quality and meet the required standards. Ensure proper use of testing frameworks like Espresso, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies. Continuously improve app performance, architecture, and overall development processes.
• Participate in the end-to-end development lifecycle, including maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and release.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of Android development experience, with a proven track record of building and shipping Android component libraries using Jetpack Compose.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern Android development practices.
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose for building declarative UIs, and experience transitioning from XML-based UI to Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with Android architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar.
• In-depth experience with RESTful APIs, Retrofit, Room, WorkManager, Glide, and other common Android libraries and frameworks.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization techniques, including memory management, threading, and app startup time reduction.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries and SDKs into Android applications.
• Expertise in unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and UI testing (Espresso, UI Automator).
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/DC tool.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, backend).
• Knowledge of App security best practices, such as secure data storage and safe network communications.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Jetpack Compose's latest features and Android Studio tools.
• Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform or cross-platform development (e.g., Flutter, React Native).
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Firebase, AWS) and integrating Android apps with cloud backends.
