SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
SUMMARY: The Leaguers, Inc. is seeking a full time Social Media Coordinator for the Head Start/ Early Head Start Program.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Social Media Coordinator plays a key role in enhancing The Leaguers, Inc.'s brand visibility and strengthening parent engagement for our elite child development programs. This position requires a creative, detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of social media platforms, current trends, and digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will excel at both independent work and team collaboration, bringing innovative ideas to life while maintaining alignment with the organization's mission and values.

The ideal candidate will excel at both independent work and team collaboration, bringing innovative ideas to life while maintaining alignment with the organization's mission and values.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand recognition and community engagement;
- Manage the organization's online reputation, including building and responding to reviews, in collaboration with the Executive Director/CEO;
- Create, curate, and manage all published content across platforms, including images, videos, written posts, and audio podcasts;
- Monitor and engage with audiences, responding to inquiries and fostering positive interactions;
- Collaborate with the Social Media Committee to design campaigns and promotional materials;
- Developing a regular publishing schedule and promotion content through community advertising;
- Integrate social media efforts with other marketing channels for cohesive messaging;
- Contribute to planning and execution of agency events;
- Support recruitment initiatives;
- Participate in planning agency site events, pre-service training, and Social Media Committee meetings;
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices;
- Monitor, track, and analyze social media metrics to measure growth and engagement;
- Provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement;
- Perform other duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in either Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred;
- Hootsuite Social Marketing Certification or Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate is recommended but not required;
- Two years of experience working in a community based organization;
- Proficient in digital and traditional media strategies;
- Must have an excellent communication and writing skills and exceptional attention to details;
- Must be familiar with various social media platforms;
- Must be knowledgeable with managing social media accounts;
- Must be familiar with video presentations and video editing tools or social media content creation;
- Skilled in fostering positive relationships with adults, children, and cross-functional teams;
- Must be knowledgeable of monitoring and analyzing social media metrics to track growth.
