Job Summary
Social media intern to support alumni social media presence. The intern contributes to content creation, event coverage, and platform management, with a focus on storytelling, engagement, and organization.
Responsibilities
Social Media Content Creation and Management (@UtahAlumni):
What’s New With U: Source content, write captions, and schedule posts using Hootsuite.
Notable Alumni: Edit templates, write captions, and schedule posts in Hootsuite.
Event Photography: Capture photos/videos at alumni events, edit and organize them in Box.
Social Media Toolkits: Write captions and transfer materials from Asana to Box (Campus Partners folders).
House-Specific Tasks:
Create weekly schedule and availability graphics using fillable templates.
Conduct social listening: engage with followers, comment, and discover new accounts.
Event photography and media management (for house events).
Project Work
Migrate content from Asana and S Drive into Box folders. (as needed)
Organize and maintain the Master Photos archive including House photos in the appropriate Box folders. (as needed)
Staff Alumni House front desk as needed.
