Salary Range:
- $20.00 - $22.00
The Social Media Intern plays a support role in shaping how Chosen Foods shows up across social platforms, helping create timely, scroll-stopping content that connects with our community. This role is perfect for someone who lives on Instagram and TikTok, spots memes and trends before they go mainstream, and wants to learn how brands build culture and community through social channels. Working closely with the Social Media Specialist, you'll contribute to content ideation, production, and community engagement to keep our brand relevant and dynamic.
This internship gives you real-world experience in brand social - from spotting trends and brainstorming ideas to creating content and engaging with our community, you'll gain hands-on exposure to every aspect of running a brand's social presence.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in concepting and producing social-first content (video, photo, copy) across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Monitor cultural trends, creator content, and internet moments to inspire timely brand posts
- Draft post captions, brainstorm content calendar ideas, and support in organizing shoots
- Support in day-to-day community management: respond to DMs, engage in comments, and show up in brand-right ways
- Track content performance and support in compiling analytics and monthly social recaps
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to bring ideas to life quickly and with purpose
- Maintain our brand voice and tone while helping us keep a finger on the pulse of the internet
- Passion for social media, pop culture, and storytelling through content
- Confident using TikTok, Instagram Reels, and social creation/editing tools like CapCut, Canva, or InShot
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to be playful, witty, and clear in captions and replies
- Comfortable being on camera and/or directing social shoots (iPhone content welcome!)
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and move quickly on trends
- Experience managing a personal or brand social account is a big plus
- A collaborative attitude, sense of humor, and hunger to learn
Physical Requirements

Work Environment
Work is performed inside a temperature-controlled office building with an open floor plan. This job operates in a professional office environment with a business casual dress code. This role will routinely utilize standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and other office machines. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
