About the SAFE ProjectSAFE (Strengthening Autism First Engagement) is a global initiative by A Global Voice for Autism. Our mission: equip emergency responders and humanitarian professionals with trauma-informed tools to support autistic children in disaster settings. The SAFE training platform is digital, dynamic, and built for impact.
We’re looking for someone with sharp technical skills and creative flair to help build and deliver unforgettable learning experiences.
Role OverviewThe Video Content & UX Specialist will serve a dual function:
Overseeing the development and optimization of our online training experience
Creating engaging, empathy-driven video modules using AI video tools like Synthesia
You’ll help shape a platform that empowers responders worldwide while bringing autistic children’s needs to the forefront of crisis care.
ResponsibilitiesPlatform Experience Design
Develop and maintain the training portal hosted on Graphy
Ensure intuitive navigation, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility for adult learners
Coordinate integrations of modules, quizzes, and multilingual support
Video Content Production
Create professional training videos using scripts provided by the SAFE team
Design relatable scenarios and emotionally engaging visuals using Synthesia
Edit, review, and upload final videos to Graphy LMS with metadata and formatting
Collaboration & Technical Support
Work closely with writers, educators, and UX consultants to align goals
Implement data tracking tools for user engagement and analytics
Troubleshoot and test platform functions across varied access conditions (low-bandwidth, offline)

Background in UX design, instructional design, video production, or web development
Proficiency with LMS platforms (Graphy preferred) and authoring tools
Experience with Synthesia or AI-based video editing platforms
Passion for inclusion and an eye for intuitive, empathetic design

A portfolio that blends humanitarian impact, tech innovation, and storytelling
Collaboration with a global team of educators, autism advocates, and emergency professionals
Deep creative ownership of a platform designed to save lives and reshape emergency care
