Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with VIP guests to grow the player base and drive revenues through retention and repeat visits.
  • Proactively attract and manage VIP players on the casino floor.
  • Make informed decisions regarding complimentary offers based on recorded play, earned points, comp availability, and customer profitability.
  • Utilize telemarketing, referrals, email campaigns, and events to solicit high-value players and expand existing business.
  • Exercise discretion in providing hospitality arrangements for VIP guests, including hotel and dining accommodations, amenities, and special requests.
  • Maintain a significant and visible presence on the casino floor to meet and greet VIP guests during visits and special events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by resolving VIP guest concerns and complaints professionally, maintaining a friendly and courteous demeanor, and ensuring all interactions align with established service standards.
  • Consistently meet or exceed departmental sales and growth targets.
  • Assist in planning, executing, and providing support for special events and programs aimed at revenue growth, cost reduction, and service enhancement.
  • Maintain and manage accurate and timely records of personal guest information, including contact details, profile preferences, and tasks using Salesforce (CMS).
  • Continuously develop technical skills to optimize use of patron data systems, complete all Salesforce tasks promptly, and collaborate with manager to review monthly metrics and set quarterly goals.
  • Monitor and assess the activity and profitability of assigned VIP players, including play level, reinvestment, and visit frequency.
  • Interact with customers and fellow team members in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner, ensuring all interactions reflect the companys customer service program standards.
  • Represent Ameristar Casino Resort professionally at internal and external meetings and events, ensuring full compliance with all corporate and local policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance within assigned responsibilities and report any potential issues to management.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality and security of all files, records, and guest lists.
  • Maintain schedule flexibility and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to support guest needs, special events, and operational demands.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Player Development and Marketing leaders.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (including basic quantitative analysis), and communication tools such as Microsoft Teams preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of casino guest service experience, including but not limited to Player Development, Slots, or Table Games.
  • Familiarity with specialty events and entertainment-related activities is preferred.
  • Must be fluent in English and at least one dialect of Chinese, Korean, or Vietnamese along with a strong understanding of Asian culture and customs.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions, with reasonable accommodation as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently initiate, follow through, and complete assignments and special projects in a timely manner.
  • Strong professional communication skills for interactions with internal departments and external business contacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgment, and use tact in all interactions.
  • Willingness to assist the Player Development and Marketing Departments as needed.
