Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team of Marketing, Communications, and Business Development professionals. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of creative and strategic efforts across our vertical and horizontal market sectors. The ideal candidate will have a natural curiosity about the A/E/C industry, flexibility, creativity, excellent writing and editing skills, a well-developed graphic eye, and proactive planning abilities. The role requires the ability to shift priorities, maintain attention to detail, and achieve high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key attributes include the ability to prioritize, multi-task efficiently, collaborate with a team under multiple deadlines, and manage workload with a proactive, "can do" attitude.
Responsibilities
- Pursuit Development: support capture planning, proposal development, and market research; help maintain CRM database of opportunities, projects, clients, contacts, and campaigns.
- Proposal & Content Development: create, edit, and maintain marketing materials (proposals in general and SF330 formats), statements of qualifications, award submittals, white papers, presentations, and marketing collateral; review materials for strategy, compliance, and grammar; provide production, assembly, and delivery support of marketing materials.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: collaborate with marketing, communications, business development, and technical teams to develop market-specific content for web, email, social media, news, and blogs; maintain up-to-date project descriptions and resumes by interviewing staff, drafting content, collecting photography, and ensuring technical accuracy.
- Brand Ambassadorship: represent the marketing department internally and the firm externally through professional organizations and teaming partnerships; coordinate outreach activities including client events, industry tradeshows, conferences, and PR initiatives; manage inventory of proposal supplies and promotional items.

Required Experience
Education, Technology, and Experience
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Business, or related field with 1-3 years of relevant experience recommended.
- Without a degree, 2-5 years of professional or internship experience in the A/E/C field is required.
- Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) credentials may receive additional consideration.
- Additional considerations may include: prior experience in related marketing, business development, or public relations roles within the A/E/C industry; experience with SF330, Virginia AE, or SF254/255 formats; proficiency with industry-standard design and business applications.
- Technical tools: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat); Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics); digital asset management systems (e.g., Open Asset is a plus).
Working Conditions

The selected candidate is expected to work in a JMT office location at least three days per week or as needed to perform duties.
