Overview
As businesses prepare to inject AI/ML capabilities into their operations, the need for robust data management and governance solutions will become increasingly critical. Atlas Data Science, a subsidiary of Freedom Technology Solutions Group, is hiring a Senior UI/UX Developer to assist in the development and launch of a new platform that is intended to enhance the discovery, access, use, and sharing of diverse data types across an expanding network of suppliers and consumers.
Responsibilities
- Organize and structure content in an intuitive way that is easy to navigate.
- Design wireframes for both front-end UI and back-end (database administration UI).
- Develop the look and feel of the interface, including typography, color palettes, and graphics.
- Define how users interact with the interface.
- Create methods for presenting database information (tables, graphs, charts, maps, KPIs, etc.).
- Conduct testing on the solution and collect feedback.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the design and development process.
- Actively learn and apply new technologies and development best practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in design software like Figma, Sketch, Adobe, or comparable tools.
- Ability to create interactive prototypes and demonstrate ideas.
- Experience conducting research and usability testing.
- Interest or exposure to geospatial data processing (e.g., GIS systems, coordinate systems, KML, shapefiles).
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn complex data systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, agile environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen.
