In 2024, Santa Fe International Film Festival received over 4,100 film submissions, and--with the festival's new Academy Award(r) Qualifying Status (winners of SFiFF's Best Narrative Short, Best Animated Short, and Best Documentary Short awards may qualify to enter the Academy Awards(r) provided the films otherwise comply with the Academy rules)--we look forward to receiving even more submissions in 2025!
We are seeking assistance watching and reviewing all of these exciting new films.
Potential screeners must be able to commit to watching a very large number of films in an extremely short period of time between February and September (with the bulk of screening between June and August), conveying their feelings in a concise and nuanced manner.
