Position: Event Marketing Intern Location: Ft Lauderdale Office Reports To: Director of Global Events
Role Overview As an Event Marketing Intern at IGEL, you'll gain hands-on experience in planning, coordinating, and executing both virtual and in-person events. You will work closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Partner teams to help drive event success, brand awareness, and lead generation. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn about event marketing in the fast-paced technology sector.
Key Responsibilities • Event Planning & Coordination: Assist in the planning, logistics, and execution of IGEL-hosted and sponsored events, such as trade shows, conferences, webinars, and customer events. • Marketing Support: Collaborate on event promotion campaigns, including email, social media, and digital advertising, to maximize attendance and engagement. • Vendor & Partner Communication: Support coordination with venues, vendors, and IGEL partners to ensure seamless event delivery. • Content Development: Help create event collateral, including invitations, landing pages, presentations, and post-event follow-up materials. • Lead Management: Assist with pre-event registrations, on-site check-ins, and post-event lead capture and follow-up activities in CRM systems. • Event Reporting: Support event data tracking, analytics, and reporting to assess event performance and ROI. • Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure event objectives align with overall marketing goals.
Requirements • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. • Strong interest in event planning and marketing. • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus. • Team player with a proactive, positive attitude.
