About Awaken Pittsburgh:
Awaken Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to fostering
well-being, empathy, and compassion for all. We achieve our mission by teaching and
encouraging mindfulness and meditation practices. Through our programs, we aim to
empower individuals and communities to thrive in a fast-paced world, promoting a
culture of mindfulness that benefits everyone.
About This Role:
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote
mindfulness and meditation programs.
Contribute to social media management, including content creation, scheduling
posts, and engaging with our community.
Support event marketing efforts, including digital promotions, event logistics, and
on-site assistance.
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and feedback to guide
marketing strategies.
Collaborate with the team to create marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and email newsletters. Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies. About You: ● Have the equivalent of or are currently pursuing an associates, bachelors, or masters degree (degree field in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred but not necessary). ● A strong interest in mindfulness, meditation, and the mission of Awaken Pittsburgh. ● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. ● Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools. ● Creative thinker with attention to detail. ● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. ● Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn new software as needed.
