About the Role We are seeking a talented

UX Content Strategist

to join our Experience Design team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the voice, tone, and content strategy across our digital products. Your goal will be to create clear, intuitive, and engaging user experiences by translating complex concepts into simple, actionable language that builds trust and strengthens our brand. This is a collaborative role where you will work closely with UX designers, researchers, marketers, and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure content enhances usability and supports business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy Development (20%) Design and implement content strategies for new and existing digital products. UX Writing & Editing (20%) Create clear, concise, and compelling copy for user interfaces including buttons, labels, tooltips, error messages, onboarding flows, and help text. Content Analysis (20%) Conduct content audits, gap analyses, and competitive research to identify opportunities for content improvements. User Testing & Feedback (20%) Partner with UX researchers to test content, gather feedback, and iterate based on findings to improve user experience. Content Standards & Design System (15%) Collaborate with the design system team to define, document, and maintain content guidelines, including voice and tone principles. Stakeholder Education (5%) Advocate for the value of UX writing and content strategy across teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Strong portfolio showcasing UX writing, content strategy, or related experience. Expertise in simplifying complex information and writing in plain, user-friendly language. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and ability to explain content decisions. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and can proactively identify content needs. Passion for crafting excellent user experiences with attention to both strategy and detail. Preferred:

Experience contributing to design systems and defining content standards. Familiarity with healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.

Work Environment:

Hybrid (required 3 days onsite at South San Francisco campus - Tuesday and Wednesday are mandatory onsite days). Travel:

Occasional travel, up to 15%.
