About the Role
Were looking for a strategic, creative, and self-motivated Social Media & Community Manager to lead Allaras presence across organic social, influencer partnerships, and content-driven performance campaigns. Youll own our social strategy, manage our creator community, and help concept and develop content for paid social channels. From storytelling and trends to video shoots and comment threads, this role is at the intersection of culture, care, and communityand will be instrumental in shaping Allaras brand expression on social media. We value in-person collaboration and aim for at least three days per week in our NYC office, with flexibility as needed. What Youll Do
Lead Organic Social Strategy & Content Creation Own the day-to-day strategy and execution for TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTubecreating platform-native content that reflects Allaras brand voice, educates and empowers our audience, and drives consistent engagement and growth Manage Community Engagement & Brand Advocacy: actively engage with our audience across platformsbuilding trust through comments, DMs, and patient stories, and cultivating a safe, supportive community around hormonal health Build and Scale Our Creator & Influencer Program: source, vet, and manage paid and organic influencer partnerships that align with Allaras mission. Oversee UGC collection, ambassador programs, and social collaborations that expand our reach and credibility Own Paid Social Creative Development: partner with growth marketing to concept and develop high-performing ad contentwriting scripts, directing video, briefing creators, and applying insights to continually optimize performance Oversee Lightweight Social Production: bring content to life through hands-on productionfilming, editing, and packaging short-form videos for organic and paid social; coordinate small-scale shoots and direct UGC when needed Lead Trend Spotting & Cultural Moment Activation: stay on the pulse of cultural conversations, editorial moments, and digital trends to ensure Allara shows up in timely, relevant, and meaningful wayswithout compromising brand trust or integrity Collaborate Across Teams to Support Campaigns & Launches: work cross-functionally with brand, growth, and clinical to align on content strategy, support launches, and integrate social and creator content across broader initiatives Who You Are
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in social media marketing or related role with demonstrated personal passion for social media engagement and proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, resource-lean startup environments Proven expertise and authentic desire to contribute to a brand through content creation across multiple platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube) with advanced video editing and content production skills, plus demonstrated ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects from concept to completion Strong copywriting and communication abilities with experience creating engaging copy that drives audience interaction, combined with excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities without constant oversight Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms with ability to perform comprehensive reporting and data analysis, translating insights into actionable strategy recommendations that drive measurable results A keen visual sensibility and authentic storytelling approach to their work, aligned with cultural timing and brand voice Comfortable being on camera and representing the brand; thrives in a dynamic startup environment by proactively identifying opportunities, driving innovative solutions, and adapting quickly to emerging challenges in womens health and digital media Preferred Qualifications Experience in health, wellness, tech, or an understanding of womens health communication nuances and editorial moments/tentpoles Proven track record of growing social media audiences for a brand or personal channels through creative content strategy and community building initiatives Passion for womens health and mission-driven work, with demonstrated ability to authentically communicate about sensitive health topics What Allara Offers
