The community you'll be caring for:
AdventHealth Hendersonville
The role you'll contribute:
Responsible for all aspects of care as outlined in the policy and procedure manual. This position performs diagnostic polysomnographic testing and assessment-based therapeutic interventions. This role includes the analysis and scoring of polysomnographic records. In addition, this position ensures accurate documentation and reporting of sleep study results. Additionally, this role maintains equipment and supplies necessary for sleep studies
The value you'll bring to the team:
Performs polysomnography procedures according to physician orders, department policy, and patient care plans.
Adapts all needed testing procedures and equipment to patients and obtains quality data.
Conducts thorough patient assessments and takes appropriate action as necessary.
Uses hospital equipment, supplies, and resources responsibly and notifies the lead polysomnographer of any concerns.
Follows procedures for correct billing and documentation of services provided.
Qualifications
The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed:
High School Grad or Equivalent Required
1 Year of Work Experience as a Sleep Tech Required
Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) Required or
Registered Respiratory Therapist-Sleep Disorder Specialist (RRT-SDS) Required
