Position Specific Description

TheSEO Manager will developand scale ourorganic searchstrategy to drive measurable growth. Your work will directlyimpactorganic search visibility acrosstraditionaland AI based search engine platforms. This position will manage external agencies and collaborate with internal teams to develop robust strategies for content, technicalSEOand results reporting.

In this hands-on role, theSEOManagerwill:

Own, develop and manage our internal and external agencyorganicsearchstrategy and tactics

Manage,measureand evaluateorganic searchagency performance

Develop strategy to maximize brandand non-brandvisibility, page rankand conversions with traditionalorganic searchand future AIoverview results

Own content strategy, partnering with external agencies to produce engaging,organic searchcontent fordigital properties

Track, measure and report on the impact oforganic searchstrategieson page ranking, leads,and new customer acquisition

Identifyand drive technical enhancements that improve page rank performance

Proactivelyidentifyand address on-pageorganic searchopportunitiesincluding technical SEO

Own website maintenance and management

This individual must have strong, practical working experience managingorganic search. The ideal candidate will have agency experience, as well as in-house marketing experience managing outside agencies. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and has direct oversight of digital agency partners to drive business performance.

5+years specific SEO experience, including technical

Experience conducting competitive research, technical audits,and content gap analyses

Deep knowledge of SEO tools like Screaming Frog,SEMRush,Ahrefs, Google Search Console

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Deep experienceidentifying, managing to, and reporting on Insights from SEO KPIs

Must havedemonstratedstrong written and oral communication skills.

Must havedemonstratedexperience drivingorganicsearch leads and sales growthfor a recurring service model category and/or eCommerce

Ability to analyzeexternal data sources and internal Googleanalytics reporting to drive performance improvement

Experience working with creative services to produce compelling and results-drivencontent

Strong attention to detail

Must be comfortable with ambiguity

Must be a self-starter

Must be comfortable leading strategy and then rolling up your sleeves to activate programs

Experience with developing and managing to a budget

Agency experience & agency management experience both preferred

Google Analytics Certification a plus

Job Overview

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Translates business goals into actionable marketing strategy within a defined budget

Defines & develops digital acquisition strategies with a focus on performance marketing channels and tactics

Leverages digital marketing mix to drive online sales growth and overall new customer acquisition

Develops marketing and advertising campaigns and programs from strategic concept to completion

Develops profile of target customers, compelling positioning, and value proposition for existing and new products and services

Translates complex concepts and solutions into key messages

Recommends and implements changes to campaigns and web content to remain competitive in the digital marketplace and drive conversion

Consults internally on product messaging and develops campaigns to drive results

Advocates for the end user experience through data and research driven methods

Ensures alignment between Product, Business and Platform priorities in the context of overall strategy and goals

Performs other job-related duties as assigned
