Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Rue Gilt Groupe Role Senior Graphic Designer: Luxury Fashion Ecomm This is more than a design role; it’s an opportunity to build a fashion-focused design portfolio while leading a design team shaping a premium and luxury flash sale brand at the forefront of e-commerce. We’re looking for a skilled Senior Designer who combines style with visual storytelling, is prepared to roll up their sleeves, and can inspire an established team of designers. Skill is critical; collaboration is key. You’ll work with Creative Directors to plan seasonal campaigns, partner with Art Directors and photographers to achieve editorial imagery, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve how we visually merchandise daily sales on site. You’ll have the tools, trust, and team to make a real impact on the brand, the category, and your portfolio. What You’ll Do Creative Design Quality is your top priority. Watching trends Design engaging, high-performing digital assets for the site, digital marketing, and social campaigns. Optimize designs for performance and user experience; learn what works for customers and evolve your work and your team’s work, leading with typography, layout, imagery, and motion design skills. Create and implement new templates, systems, and design treatments that scale across channels. Retouch, color correct, and digitally modify in-house fashion editorial imagery to meet visual merchandising needs of sales events and seasonal direction. Create assets that are on-trend, elevated, and present the brand as a fashion authority. Lead, mentor, and manage Designers and Associate Designers—reviewing work, giving feedback, and supporting growth. Design, maintain, and enforce visual brand guidelines for consistency across touchpoints. Collaborate with Copywriters, Merchants, Marketers, and Creative Operations Project Managers. Guide the team through project cycles, help prioritize, problem-solve, and raise the quality of work. Manage multiple complex projects at once and drive initiatives from concept to delivery. Participate in and lead brainstorms to generate strong, innovative ideas. Be nimble and adaptable; embrace change and guide the team through periods of rapid change. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality assets that meet aesthetic and functional goals. Stay current on luxury, fashion, and e-commerce design trends and technologies. Help evolve the visual direction of our brands and champion ideas that excite and push boundaries. About You We’re building something bigger than just a brand. You are: A seasoned designer with
5+ years of experience , preferably in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle e-commerce. A hands-on creative with a portfolio that reflects exceptional
digital design skills —showcasing typography, imagery, motion-design, and retouching abilities. Experienced with
Adobe Creative Suite . Figma and motion/video/animation experience are a plus. Comfortable managing a team and giving clear, constructive feedback. Confident in developing and applying brand systems but motivated to experiment and innovate within them. Excellent at multitasking, prioritizing, and communicating across cross-functional teams. Expected Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 Rue Gilt Groupe is committed to providing Associates with equal pay for equal work and considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, education, certification(s), license(s), skills and expertise, location, internal equity, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need. Our goal is to support, reward and compensate the entire individual. Depending on role eligibility, your offer may also include bonus/commission, stock options, 401(k) participation, paid time off, medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance.
