CAPS Pregnancy+ Medical Clinics offers early prenatal services, resources, education and counseling in a confidential environment. CAPS offers services at 5 clinics, in the San Diego area. CAPS is a non-profit organization offering help and hope for pregnancy decisions and for those who are struggling from past abortion. CAPS offers a host of resources and a network of service providers for pregnancy, pregnancy grief, adoption and parenting. We do not perform or refer for abortions. Critical Qualities: A strong maturity in Christian faith A genuine passion for the life-affirming mission of CAPS Professionalism in demeanor, written and oral communication Disciplined with priorities and deadlines Commitment to excellence in the development and growth of the organization Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and tolerant in a changing work environment Position Overview: As our Social Media Intern/Brand Ambassador, you will play a pivotal role in personifying our brand online and engaging with our audience through compelling content, captivating stories, and authentic interactions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management while contributing to the impact CAPS Pregnancy Medical Clinic is making in the San Diego area. Responsibilities: Manage and help establish newly created brand identity into different platforms. Follow established content strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement across Instagram and potentially TikTok. Create visually appealing and engaging content including photos, videos, graphics, and captions that align with our brand voice and resonate with our target audience. Be the face of the brand by appearing in Instagram Reels and Stories, TikToks, and other interactive content, showcasing the personality of the brand. Collaborate with other CAPS employees to create content that establishes the brand experience (e.g. interviewing medical staff about the appointment experience or helpful women’s health information) Monitor social media channels for trends, opportunities, and conversations relevant to us and respond to comments on CAPS profile. Re-purpose content from blogs, website content, etc. to create relevant videos. Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and content creation. Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. Passion for social media, digital marketing, and brand storytelling. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity. Proficiency in using social media platforms including Instagram and TikTok. Basic knowledge of photo and video editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn and adapt. Previous experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing is a plus.
