For more information, visit CharlotteFootballClub.com. Position Summary The Manager, Marketing Activation, is a lead marketing role for Charlotte FC and a key member of the Club's leadership team. The role oversees events, experiential, grassroots, influencer, and other targeted tactics designed to grow awareness and recognition of CLTFC. Priorities include developing and executing comprehensive marketing activation strategies to strengthen the brand; fueling fandom and engagement through compelling campaigns; and capturing new potential fans through marketing tactics designed to meet potential fans where they are. This person thrives on building and maintaining strong working alliances with other leaders. The role requires constant communication with teammates in ticketing, partnerships, facility operations, community engagement, communications, and soccer operations. The Manager, Marketing Activation, is naturally curious about what will take the CLTFC brand to the next level and is an expert collaborator with a history of breakthrough activations. Primary Responsibilities Lead all grassroots marketing efforts including but not limited to viewing parties, sports tournaments, festivals, and more, in partnership with the Community Relations team. Lead the development of large-scale brand events and work with Ticketing team to execute Season Ticket Member appreciation programs. Serve as day-today contact for our Supporters groups, empowering their fandom to make an impact on gamedays and beyond. Recommend and support resources needed for the groups to be successful in driving match day energy and increasing their membership, while aligning with overarching goals of the Club. Lead and manage a team of two coordinators and two interns to support department efforts Lead Influencer campaigns and activations around our events and matches Grow fan affinity & fan sentiment; Deliver talked about events & experiences across the enterprise both on gameday / match day and year-round. Evolve existing and create new products, services & benefits that fans value. Grow the brand regionally, nationally, and globally & ultimately become one of the most loved brands in sports.

Work with internal clients to drive campaign performance from ideation to execution.

Work alongside Head of Marketing and other Marketing leaders to develop comprehensive annual marketing strategies, including promotional calendars and media strategies with the ticket sales team that support campaigns, tell the brand story, and focus on call to action. Build experiential lead generation campaigns that drive ticket sales Establish and monitor staff performance, development goals and department priorities

Partner with Community Outreach team to develop collaborative events and live engagement strategies.

Qualifications, Skills and Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing, sports, business management, communications, or related field. Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing activation, experiential marketing, events, or related fields. 1 - 2 years+ direct managerial experience Knowledge of soccer, professional soccer leagues, and MLS Native Spanish language speaker (bilingual English + Spanish) strongly preferred Sports & entertainment, property, or agency experience. Work Environment This job operates mostly in an office environment and outside in a stadium facility at times which may include inclement weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Some travel may be required to away games or for other business purposes.
