Responsibilities

Develop and implement integrated strategic communications plans to enhance brand identity

Create marketing and public relations strategies to build relationships with high-level external audiences

Serve as a spokesperson and primary contact for media interactions

Oversee daily communications activities including budgeting, planning, and team development

Mentor and manage a communications team to ensure effective execution of the communications strategy

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role, either in-house or with an agency

Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors

Extensive writing and editing experience in various print and online media

Demonstrated leadership in managing strategic communications and media relations programs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns

Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic plans into actionable outputs

Ability to measure the ROI of communications activities

Energetic and collaborative team leader with a proactive approach

Experience in mentoring and coaching a team of communications specialists
