Talent Acquisition and Staffing Manager Facilitating Growth and Development by Bridging Businesses with Exceptional Talent. Our client is seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager for their California offices (Los Angeles, Palo Alto, and San Francisco). This person will lead business development and marketing initiatives across California offices. This role offers the opportunity to shape client engagement strategies, drive growth across multiple practice areas, and mentor a small but high-performing team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 6 years of experience in marketing or business development within a professional services environment (law firm or related industry strongly preferred) and a proven track record of supporting both litigation and transactional practices. The successful individual will combine strategic insight with hands-on execution, demonstrating strong leadership, project management, and client service skills. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for all sales and marketing activity across California offices. Lead and mentor a team of specialists and coordinators, ensuring effective delegation, quality execution, and professional growth. Partner with leadership and practice groups to create compelling proposals, RFP responses, presentations, and client-facing materials. Manage high-visibility marketing and business development projects, balancing long-term strategy with short-term deliverables. Develop and maintain business development pipelines, track opportunities, and measure outcomes. Oversee content development for pitches, practice descriptions, marketing collateral, and submissions to industry directories and rankings. Plan and execute client events, conferences, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. Align California sales and marketing strategies with firmwide goals, ensuring consistency and brand integrity. Identify cross-practice and cross-office growth opportunities, supporting both litigation and transactional teams. Implement systems and processes to streamline workflows, manage deadlines, and track results. Qualifications
6+ years of sales, business development, or marketing experience in a professional services environment; law firm experience preferred. Demonstrated success supporting both litigation and transactional practices. Prior experience managing and mentoring team members. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., InterAction, Salesforce, Vuture) is strongly preferred. Bachelors degree required; advanced degree or certifications in marketing, communications, or related fields a plus. Willingness to travel between offices and work extended hours when necessary. USD $140,000.00 $160,000.00 /Yr. (commensurate with experience and location).
