Position: Creative Department Summer Intern
Department: Creative Services
Reporting to: Creative Services Program Manager
Overview:
The Creative Department Summer Intern will support the daily needs of our fast-paced, in-house Creative Department by directly supporting the Creative Services Program Manager, Creative Department Assistant, and teams across all areas of AE Creative. This role offers hands-on experience with a wide variety of projects, ranging from design and media to corporate marketing and operations, giving the intern exposure to how each team contributes to delivering an exceptional advisor experience. This individual must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, energetic, and eager to support a very fast-paced team.
What you'll do:
Coordinate and order promotional items, event supplies and gifts for clients
Assist in ongoing birthday campaigns for clients including mailings and e-blasts
Compose, coordinate and distribute daily communication to staff
Maintain records and receipts of department purchases
Assemble gifts and materials for events (client and staff), Prep space for meeting rooms for events, Assist in ordering food and beverage for events
Assist in coordinating Creative group lunches
Assist in scheduling for Creative Department leaders and other creative meeting needs
Assist Creative leadership in gathering, tracking, and reporting on Creative strategic plan, KPIs, and other reporting tasks
Assist Creative leaders and department with various administrative and project requests
Assist the Corporate Marketing Team and Social Media Manager with content creation and various tasks across multiple platforms
Support AE Media teams with tasks related to TV production, media buying, radio, and digital campaigns
Performs other duties as assigned
Experience you'll bring:
High School Diploma
Passion for creating positive work environment
Outgoing, loves working with people
Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
Detail oriented, focused on quality in all aspects of your work
Ability to independently manage projects/tasks while navigating a variety of competing priorities and frequent interruptions
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to interact with all personality types and with all levels of staff
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite
Bonus Points:
Currently or previously enrolled in secondary education program
Experience with digital design/editing platforms (e.g. Adobe or Canva)
Reliable transportation to run occasional errands
