Disneys Direct to Consumer (DTC) team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, helping to bring The Walt Disney Companys best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere. The Disney+ Global Content Programming and Subscriber Engagement team leads content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights to contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service. Manager, Content Planning

will oversee Disney+ slate updates and collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Finance, Operations, Studios, Networks, and International Programming to ensure slate alignment and optimization. This role requires a dynamic thinker with strong strategy and leadership experience. Key Responsibilities

Manage Disney+ slate updates throughout the content planning lifecycle, coordinating with key stakeholders. Develop strong partnerships with stakeholders across segments to establish programming intent for content initiatives. Work cross-functionally across executive leadership, international partners, programming, and operations teams to ensure slate alignment and initiate content planning workflows. Collaborate across teams to generate insights and strategic recommendations that optimize slate planning. Create business communications and presentations that synthesize inputs from internal partners to provide a comprehensive and strategic view of the content pipeline. Partner with the Sr. Manager to design and evolve scalable frameworks and processes for global slate planning. Maintain extensive slate data across planning systems and documentation. Required Qualifications & Skills

7+ years of experience in entertainment at a major media company, with a focus on content finance, planning, strategy, and/or slate management. 1+ year of direct people management experience. Proficiency in Airtable, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, and adaptability with new tools. Proven ability to build and manage relationships across a complex, matrixed organization. Demonstrated advanced deck building skills for executive-level audiences. Strong track record of leading strategic, high-priority projects in dynamic environments. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications

Relevant experience in content strategy and finance, with the ability to translate insights into actionable planning; strong preference. Passion for Disneys segments, brands, and franchises with the ability to drive audience engagement; considered a plus. Education

Bachelors degree required, preferably in a related field. Additional Information

This role is based in the Glendale office 4 days a week from Monday through Thursday with flexibility to work from home on Friday. Compensation

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $103,500 to $138,800 per year. The base pay offered will reflect internal equity and may vary by geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
