Job Summary: We are seeking a highly creative, energetic, and diligent Content Manager with a strong passion for social media and event execution to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand presence online and in New York, engaging our target audience, and driving brand awareness and sales through compelling digital content and memorable experiences. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess a deep understanding of current social media trends and event logistics within the alcohol industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:70% of time
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media content calendar across all relevant platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube currently).
- Create engaging and high-quality visual content (photos, videos, graphics) and compelling copy that aligns with our brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Monitor social media channels daily, engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster an active online community.
- Identify and implement new social media trends, features, and best practices to maximize reach and engagement.
- Develop, implement and manage influencer relations program (identify relevant influencers, foster relationships, and coordinate collaborations and UGC creation)
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure social media content supports product launches, promotions, and brand initiatives.
- Define key KPIs and track and analyze social media performance metrics (followers, reach, engagement and impressions) and contribute to quarterly reviews.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and performance optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with competitor social media activities and industry trends.
Event Coordination & Execution: 20% of time
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various brand events, including tastings, product launches, festivals, trade shows, and sponsored activations.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, vendor management (e.g., caterers, bartenders, photographers, entertainers), equipment rental, and staffing.
- Manage event promotional efforts across social media, email marketing, and other channels.
- Represent the brand professionally at events, engaging with consumers, distributing promotional materials, and ensuring a positive brand experience.
- Cultivate influencer and press relationships and encourage their attendance at special events.
- Track event performance, gather feedback, and provide post-event reports with recommendations for future improvements.
- Ensure all event activities comply with local alcohol regulations and responsible drinking guidelines.
Other Supporting Duties: 10% of time
- Assist Art Director in the development and distribution of marketing materials (e.g., flyers, brochures, merchandise).
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis as needed..
- Manage other marketing-related administrative tasks as required.
