We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator for an award-winning, multi-disciplinary Architectural firm in Sacramento. For over 45 years, the team has worked to innovatively shape the built environment, and we are seeking a motivated and talented Marketing Coordinator for Sacramento!
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting marketing and business development efforts. This position involves a mix of creative and tactical execution, focusing on the successful coordination and development of project proposal submissions and project pursuits. You will help expand our presence as a leading architectural design firm while bringing your creativity and organizational expertise to elevate our marketing initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities:
Proposal Development: Coordinate with leadership, design professionals, and consultant teams to support the creation of Proposals and Qualification packages (RFQs and RFPs). Tasks include organizing content, drafting sections, compiling input from team members, proofreading, formatting, creating graphics, printing, and managing the distribution of final deliverables.
Content Management: Maintain and update a library of high-quality creative materials, including project profiles, boilerplate material, project portfolios, team qualifications, and templates for both digital and print collateral.
Opportunity Monitoring: Regularly monitor contracting opportunity websites and download relevant requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for qualifications (RFQs), and related documents. Collaborate on automating processes to deliver timely updates about relevant RFPs and RFQs to the firm.
Deadline Coordination: Manage interim and final deadlines for proposals, coordinating production schedules, delivery methods (mail, overnight, electronic submission), and ensuring timely delivery.
Presentations and Client Engagements: Prepare presentations and materials for client interviews, meet-and-greets, and other business development engagements.
Social Media and Digital Content: Lead efforts to create and manage fresh, engaging social media content and collaborate with team members to expand social media strategy. Assist with website updates and social media posts.
CRM Management: Perform CRM (SalesForce) data entry and retrieval, generating reports and maintaining accurate data to support marketing efforts.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, proposal coordination, or business development.
Previous experience in an architecture, engineering, or design office is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication skills, including verbal, writing, proofreading, and editing.
