About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, PR & Corporate Communications to play a pivotal role in enhancing and safeguarding its reputation as a leader in women's professional sports. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that not only promote the organization and its initiatives but also support its commercial growth ambitions. This role involves proactive media relations, identifying and mitigating reputational risks, and leading the corporate media relations program. The VP will be expected to craft compelling narratives, manage day-to-day media activities, and ensure that the organization's messaging is clear, consistent, and resonates globally with fans and stakeholders. Applicants for the VP, PR & Corporate Communications position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in PR and corporate communications, with a preference for those with a background in sports communications, marketing, or journalism. The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to think strategically about reputation and communications, and a strong enthusiasm for the mission of championing women's sports and promoting female athletes.
