We are seeking a skilled Technical Designer with a strong focus on women's ready-to-wear (full collection including outerwear/ jackets) In this role, you will apply your deep knowledge of garment construction to develop precise tech packs and collaborate closely with designers, product developers, and vendors to ensure fit standards are consistently met. Must have solid understanding of Pattern construction. You will play a key role in driving styles through timely fit approvals and maintaining quality throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate actively in leading fit sessions alongside the Design team and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment on fit and design intent.
  • Work collaboratively with designers to provide clear, detailed fit feedback and comments.
  • Create comprehensive tech packs from Production First Fit through Pre-Production approval stages.
  • Maintain consistent fit standards during manufacturing by monitoring quality and communicating necessary adjustments.
  • Liaise effectively with both domestic and international vendors and factories to support smooth production workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years experience leading fit sessions and generating detailed fit commentary.
  • Strong expertise in pattern making, grading, specification revisions, pattern corrections, garment construction, sewing techniques, measuring, and fitting processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written proficiency, problem-solving aptitude, decision-making capabilities, and time management.
  • Proficient with design and office software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Outlook, Word, and Excel. PLM plus
  • Background in women’s contemporary apparel
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
