Our client is a Private-Equity backed, mid-sized consumer durable business. With an established business and positive brand reputation, the business is known to be a major player in the sector. As it continues to win market share and expand into adjacent markets, the board and executive leadership is hiring a digitally native Head of Marketing to further expand and elevate their business with full-funnel, performance marketing strategies.
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and data-driven Head of Marketing to lead our performance marketing strategy efforts while overlooking a full-stack in-house marketing team. This executive will be responsible for driving customer acquisition & journey, and lifetime value through a full-funnel marketing approach, while also safeguarding and elevating our brand reputation.
This role is ideal for a strategic leader with deep expertise in SEO, Paid Media, CRM, Conversion Optimization, and LTV/CAC modeling, and a passion for building high-performing teams in the consumer durables space. Experience in B2B2C marketing and supporting a customer service call center is highly desired.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Marketing Leadership
- Own and optimize the full digital marketing funnel across SEO, SEM, paid social, display, affiliate, and programmatic channels.
- Drive measurable growth in customer acquisition and retention while maintaining efficient CAC and maximizing LTV.
- Lead A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives across web and mobile platforms.
- Develop and deliver regular CRO performance reports to executive leadership, highlighting key insights, test outcomes, and optimization opportunities.
CRM & Lifecycle Marketing
- Oversee CRM strategy including email, SMS, and acquisition programs to increase engagement and increase purchase rates.
- Implement segmentation and personalization strategies to improve customer experience and ROI.
Brand & Reputation Management
- Develop and execute brand positioning and messaging strategies that resonate with target audiences.
- Monitor and manage brand reputation across digital platforms, review sites, and social media.
Analytics & Budgeting
- Build and manage marketing budgets with a focus on ROI and performance metrics.
- Partner with analytics teams to develop dashboards and reporting frameworks for real-time performance tracking.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of marketers, analysts, and creatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in driving business growth through full-funnel performance marketing, preferably in B2B2C or a longer cycle B2C environment.
- Deep expertise in SEO, paid media, CRM, CRO, and marketing analytics.
- Strong understanding of LTV/CAC dynamics and financial modeling.
- Experience managing a full-stack in-house marketing team with a multi-million dollar marketing budget.
- Highly entrepreneurial with a “can do” attitude and strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
