Overview

Advertising Account Executive – Santa Ana, CA. Spectrum Reach offers premium video solutions to business owners and advertising agencies nationwide. This role is part of the In Market Sales Team and involves growing sales, evangelizing Spectrum Reach Media Solutions, and expanding awareness of Spectrum Reach’s offering to advertisers. You will lead all sales and client management responsibilities of your book of business and drive revenue through a combination of account management and proactive selling of data-driven media solutions.

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.

Base pay range: $48,000.00/yr - $48,000.00/yr

We offer a comprehensive pay and benefits package and comply with local wage minimums; certain positions may be eligible for additional incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $66,000.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all sales and client management responsibilities for your book of business
  • Drive revenue through a combination of account management and proactive selling of data-driven media solutions
  • Achieve sales and strategic goals
  • Cultivate and nurture connections with brands and marketing/advertising agencies
  • Identify business challenges and connect Spectrum Reach solutions to address them
  • Oversee sales forecasting and reporting for your Book of Business
  • Communicate effectively with external partners, clients, and internal stakeholders; adapt your style to various levels of technical expertise
  • Deliver client results that earn repeat business

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations
  • 3+ years of sales with ideally 2+ years in Digital advertising (preferably CTV), insertion order media and/or managed services to marketing decision-makers with brands and/or independent ad agencies
  • Ability to use data in developing and selling a media strategy
  • Adept at presenting complex solutions in a simple, easy-to-understand manner
  • Understanding of the media landscape and evolving dynamics of advertising
  • Familiarity with the Adtech ecosystem including ad network, ad exchange, SEM platform, DSP, SSP, and other online advertising technology
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to speak with C-level clients; confident in negotiating
  • Local and regional travel; valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building processes to hold yourself accountable to goals
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining high levels of client relationships and business excellence
  • Knowledge of media research & planning tools (eg Strata, ComScore, Nielsen, GA4)
  • Interest in the convergence of entertainment, technology, and data in Spectrum Reach and its customers
