A company is looking for a VFX Artist (CONTRACT).

Responsibilities

• Creates, designs, and implements real-time particle effects for gameplay, environment, and cinematics
• Optimizes FX for framerate and memory while collaborating with development departments
• Orchestrates FX events to enhance the overall art style and believability of scenes

Qualifications

• Intermediate ability to navigate and use DCC software such as Maya or Houdini
• Experience in creating FX textures and shaders with node-based shader networks
• Intermediate foundation in computer graphics fundamentals and artistic analysis
• Proficient in Photoshop for painting and editing textures
• Solid traditional arts background is a plus
