Providence is hiring: Communication Manager in Renton

Overview

Communication Manager at Providence Sisters of Providence – Mother Joseph Administrative Center. On-site four days a week and remote one day a week. This role provides leadership and coordination for developing and managing communications of the Providence Mission across ministries, religious life, media, the Sisters of the Province, and the congregation at large.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination for the development and management of communications related to the Providence Mission.
• Engage with various publics, media, the Sisters of the Province, and the congregation at large.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver clear, consistent messaging across channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 8 years of professional experience in communications, public relations, development, or related field, preferably in nonprofit or religious community settings.
• Experience with WordPress; familiarity with social media, graphic design, video editing, and website publishing.
• Driving may be necessary; must comply with state laws and provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and French.
