The role partners with admissions, advancement, alumni relations, and internal communications to develop emotionally resonant video and photographic content that celebrates Loyola’s unique community, fosters school pride, deepens donor and alumni relationships, and inspires prospective students and families. The ideal candidate is a passionate visual communicator—skilled in both videography and photography—who believes in the power of stories to form women and men for others and thrives in a collaborative, mission-centered environment. This role reports to the Director of Communications and Content Management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategy and Planning: Collaborate closely with the Communications team to plan a production calendar and ensure brand, mission, and voice alignment. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  2. Videography and Photography: Plan, produce, film, and edit high-quality video content across departments including Advancement, Admissions, Alumni Relations, Campus Ministry, Student Life, Arts, Athletics, and Academics. Capture still photography for marketing and communications purposes (events, portraits, campus life). Develop a digital asset library to organize footage for reuse across platforms. Ensure all videography and photography content reflects the school’s mission, values, and visual identity.
  3. Content Creation and Storytelling: Capture Loyola’s story through student profiles, faculty features, classroom moments, legacy family spotlights, event recaps, and daily life footage for social media, the website, and events. Engage alumni by capturing and curating their stories to support Loyola’s mission. Support enrollment through student and department profiles highlighting Loyola’s academic rigor, Jesuit values, and vibrant student life. Create content for key campaigns and events aligned with fundraising and strategic goals. Contribute to internal communications by showcasing faculty and staff and reinforcing school pride. Develop and publish engaging content across digital platforms in a timely and accurate manner, consistent with Loyola Academy’s brand. Create multimedia content including graphics, videos, and motion assets to support school initiatives.
