Overview

The Digital Graphic Designer & Content Creator role blends creative design, digital media, and strategic thinking to support branding, lead generation, sales enablement, and content marketing efforts. The candidate should have a strong foundation in both print and digital design, capable of crafting visual assets for websites, social media, presentations, email campaigns, and more. This role also involves upholding and evolving ETS’s brand identity across channels, developing video and motion content, and writing impactful short-form copy such as headlines and social media hooks.

This is a fast-paced, creative position ideal for someone who thrives on variety, is detail-oriented, and believes great design is both beautiful and purposeful.

Responsibilities

• Brand & Creative Development: maintain and evolve the visual and verbal brand identity; ensure consistency across marketing channels and touchpoints.
• Create and maintain brand assets for digital and print platforms.
• Design marketing collateral for external use (brochures, event materials, sales sheets).
• Explore opportunities to evolve the brand across platforms and technology.
• Leverage company platforms to gather, analyze, and repurpose text content into marketing assets.
• Design for print with full understanding of the print process from design to shipment.
• Design for digital & web marketing: assets for websites, ads, email campaigns, and landing pages; optimize for performance, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Collaborate on website enhancements, page layouts, and UX/UI improvements through design.
• Social media content: create graphics tailored to platform specs, align visuals with campaign goals, and produce short-form video content (TikTok, Shorts, Reels, YouTube) and related animations.
• Write short captions, hooks, and post descriptions to support visual content.
• Provide internal support: collaborate with sales to update materials (presentations, brochures, one-pagers, case studies) and develop PowerPoint presentations; assist with tradeshow graphics (pull-up banners, flyers, etc.).

Qualifications

• Proven graphic design experience with a portfolio covering print and digital work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro or After Effects).
• Basic video production and editing capabilities.
• Strong understanding of social media and web design principles (mobile-first, responsive, UX/UI).
• Strong visual storytelling with a marketing-oriented mindset.
• Basic copywriting skills for short-form content (headlines, CTAs, social posts).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Team-oriented with good communication and openness to feedback.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.

Education / Certification

Degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and strong understanding of design principles, branding, and digital marketing platforms.

Language Skills

• Ability to write reports and communications; ability to present information to stakeholders.

Reasoning & Computer Skills

• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Understanding of print processes and web design principles.
• Knowledge of social media design principles; basic video editing for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
• Advanced knowledge of social media platforms and management tools; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Physical Demands: Sit, talk, and hear; extended sitting; repetitive movements; create a home office workspace to minimize injury risk.

Work Environment: Maintain a quiet, professional home office to represent Engineered Tax Services appropriately.
