Overview
Overtime is looking for a Social Media Manager/Editor (Football) to join our social team. This person will publish to and edit videos for Overtime’s football accounts, OvertimeSZN and OT7. This role supports social channels including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and more.
Responsibilities
- Lead publishing on OT7 and OvertimeSZN social accounts.
- Edit videos for social channels.
- Film and collaborate with athletes to create content.
- Review content for proofreading, spell-checking, and quality control of videos.
- Become an expert in Overtime football and work with teams and athletes to build brands and football content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across OT to align content with strategy.
- Build a community by engaging with fans in DMs and comments.
- Curate content for posting.
- Attention to detail in all social outputs.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience managing and posting on multiple social media accounts in the sports industry.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop; ability to edit high-quality social videos.
- Ability to communicate in Overtime’s voice.
- Digitally native: active on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, and aware of new platforms and trends.
- Detail-oriented; strong proofreading skills.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about football at all levels (high school, college, professional).
- Problem-solver and self-starter; adaptable to changing timelines.
- Proactive, positive team player who can guide projects from ingest to delivery.
Compensation and Benefits
Overtime expects the salary range to be between $70-75k annually. The company offers health benefits and stock options.
