We are looking for a Media Planner/Buyer to join our team and help craft smart, impactfulmedia strategies that deliver measurable results for clients. This hybrid role combines planning, buying, and optimizing across digital and traditional channels.
What You’ll Do
- Research, plan, and execute buys across digital media (social, SEM, programmatic, OTT/CTV) and traditional media (OOH, TV, radio, print).
- Negotiate with media vendors to maximize value for clients.
- Monitor media delivery and performance, as well as optimize channels, tactics, targeting and spend in real time.
- Prepare media flowcharts, pacing reports, and client-ready presentations.
- Partner with account and creative teams to ensure media and messaging are fully aligned.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of demonstrable media experience in an agency or in-house setting.
- Ability to tightly manage budgets, pacing, and optimization.
- Knowledge of the Houston (and broader Texas) media market.
- Client-facing experience, including presenting ideas, results, and recommendations.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Self-starter who takes ownership and looks for ways to add value.
- Curiosity about new media, industry trends, and emerging tech.
Bonus Skills
- Proficiency in 1 or more media buying tools such as Strata, Bionic, or Prisma.
- Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads chops.
- Background in any of these verticals: public service, healthcare, higher education, or agriculture/farm equipment.
- Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Perplexity.
