Location and Employment Type

• Location: Remote positions are available in the US and Europe.
• Employment Type: Full-time opportunities for candidates based in Germany and Switzerland. Freelance opportunities for candidates outside of these locations.

Responsibilities

• Build robust PR strategies
• Craft insightful, engaging, and timely press releases
• Think creatively about angles and ideas for clients’ stories
• Keep up to date with news in order to ride news waves and write timely stories
• Create attention-grabbing pitches to the media
• Communicate with clients on an ongoing basis
• Write enticing thought leadership pieces
• Nurture existing relationships with media and build new ones
• Map the most relevant media outlets and journalists for clients’ stories
• Secure coverage for clients in relevant media outlets
• Monitor media to generate compelling reports sharing coverage and metrics
• Organize and prep clients for interviews with media
• Find speaking opportunities for clients at events and pitch organizers

Qualifications

• Professional English skills
• Minimum 2 years of PR experience
• Media pitching experience
• Previous agency experience preferred
• Passionate about technology
• Ability to simplify complex tech concepts
• Creative and out-of-the-box thinker
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Availability for after-hours work and occasional weekends
• Ability to work on multiple accounts simultaneously
