Role summary

We are looking for a creative, versatile and highly adaptable Public Relations Account Executive to support the Senior Manager, Public Relations. This role combines hands-on media relations with tactical campaign delivery. The ideal candidate is a nimble multi-project operator who can translate strategy into executable plans, support brand positioning work, and ensure successful execution of projects. This role is highly creative and versatile, designed for a professional who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt quickly to change, and work cross-functionally with property-level teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Media relations & outreach: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and trade press; draft and distribute press materials, pitch local and regional stories
  • Coordinate FAM trips, press events and influencer activations in partnership with property marketing teams
  • Collaborate with the Influencer teams to ensure consistent brand storytelling across North America
  • Prepare local coverage reports, track media mentions and ensure alignment with regional KPIs
  • Monitor emerging media trends, newsletters, podcasts and new channels relevant to North America audiences
  • Support crisis communications processes, preparing draft responses and liaising with Legal and Operations
  • Act as a point of contact for external agencies, among other responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3-4 years’ experience in PR, communications or marketing, with proven work in hospitality, lifestyle or luxury brands preferred
  • Strong relationships with travel and tourism media
  • Excellent English and Spanish writing skills
  • Creative, adaptable and organized, able to manage multiple projects in parallel
