Overview

Echo Drugs is a community-oriented pharmacy and specialty retail concept. We combine exceptional healthcare with a curated retail experience—think seasonal wellness, OTC, and design-driven displays that invite customers to linger and explore.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a creative, detail-obsessed Visual Merchandiser to bring our new flagship pharmacy to life. You’ll own everything from dramatic street-facing window buildouts to in-store merchandising that drives sales, tells a story, and reflects our brand aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Window Concepts & Execution: Design and install monthly/seasonal window displays that capture foot traffic and align with promotions or local events.
  • Interior Merchandising: Plan product adjacencies, focal tables, and feature areas for OTC, health & beauty, and seasonal categories.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure fixtures, signage, and props reflect Echo’s visual standards and pharmacy regulations.
  • Planograms & Guidelines: Create or adapt planograms, provide clear instructions for staff resets, and maintain SKU integrity.
  • Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Source props, manage budgets, and work with printers, signage vendors, and installers.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track sell-through and provide data-backed recommendations for future displays.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in visual merchandising or display design (retail, specialty, or pharmacy/beauty preferred).
  • Strong eye for composition, color, and lighting; proficient with SketchUp/Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
  • Hands-on installation skills—comfortable with ladders, basic tools, and managing on-site buildouts.
  • Excellent project management and communication abilities; able to hit tight deadlines and manage multiple seasonal calendars.
  • Knowledge of retail compliance (ADA, safety, pharmacy/health-related signage) a plus.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with sustainable or reusable display materials.
  • Familiarity with New York City retail permitting for window installations.
  • Photography or content-creation skills for social amplification.
