*Job Summary*
We’re a small, fast-growing dental practice with a big heart and a tight-knit team. Led by one dedicated doctor, supported by two hygienists (three days a week), and one front desk coordinator, we’re expanding quickly and looking for a hands-on, energetic Dental Assistant to grow with us.

*Dental assistant role and duties:*
* Assisting the doctor with procedures including crowns, Fabrication of temporary crowns,Impressions, fillings, cleanings, and x-rays as needed
* Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using two-four handed dentistry techniques.
* Tray setups, sterilization, room turnover and maintenance of units
* Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
* Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including medical documentation and medical coding.
* OpenDental
* Ensuring OSHA-compliant sterilization and cleanliness
* Supporting a smooth patient flow throughout the day
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
* Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure that all equipment is properly sterilized and functioning.
* Collaborate with the dental receptionist to ensure smooth patient flow within the clinic.
*Dental assitant preferred Qualifications/Requirements* *:*
* Prior dental assisting experience and familiarity with clinical procedures
* X-ray certification (or ability to obtain within a short timeline)
* Knowledge of dental terminology and infection control protocols
* Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. .
* Excellent communication skills with an ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing exceptional patient care.
