The Role
As a Motion Designer, you’ll shape and orchestrate our visual identity across static and motion media. You’ll develop and refine brand designs, craft motion graphics, and tell compelling visual stories that resonate with our audiences. You’ll drive projects from concept to completion, manage timelines and deliverables independently, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure work aligns with brand standards, user needs, and business goals. You’ll demonstrate depth in both visual and motion design, plan and prioritize your work, lead conversations within your domain, and guide design choices to deliver high-quality outcomes that elevate our brand and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate brand principles into strategic frameworks for static and motion design expressions
- Evolve and expand the brand system for consistency and scalability across touchpoints
- Conceptualize and produce motion graphics and animations that bring stories, products, and messages to life
- Develop motion design strategies that enhance storytelling and audience engagement
- Build out motion design guidelines and systems for consistency across assets
- Scale motion practices through training videos, product explainers, and reusable templates
- Create multimedia narratives tailored to audiences and objectives
- Evolve the website and other digital experiences to communicate value proposition and brand positioning
- Design marketing materials including digital and print ads, social graphics, web assets, emails, presentations, and promos
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align design vision and execution
- Manage multiple design projects concurrently with timely delivery and quality standards
- Support product design initiatives to ensure visual consistency with the brand identity
- Help attract top talent to join the team
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional brand and motion design experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of deliverables
- Impeccable execution and care for all aspects of design, from concept to motion and brand
- Strong portfolio demonstrating motion and design skills
- Confident presentation and storytelling abilities
- Comfort collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop) and Figma
- Willingness to work in person at our NYC office 4-5 days per week

Job Compensation
The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $160,000. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary, equity, and benefits. Exact compensation is determined by experience, skill level, location, and qualifications and is discussed during the interview process.
