Position Overview

Outshade is seeking a skilled and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in user interface and user experience design to contribute to the creation of innovative and intuitive digital solutions. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional designs. This is a full-time position, and the candidate should be willing to commit to a minimum duration of 1 year with Outshade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and user needs.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions.
  • Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Ensure consistency and coherence across all digital touchpoints, including websites and mobile apps.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and emerging industry trends.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation of UI/UX best practices.
  • Stay updated on UI/UX design principles, trends, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, BTech, BSc or related field.
  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and process.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions.
  • Ability to receive and incorporate constructive feedback.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.
