Web Developer

A Jupiter-based digital marketing company is looking for a Full Time Senior Level Web Developer.

The position is Full Time, in our Jupiter, FL office. No phone calls please.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, or maintain web sites, using authoring or script languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.
  • Write supporting code for web applications or websites.
  • Create attractive landing web pages.
  • Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
  • Develop databases that support web applications and web sites.
  • Perform web site tests according to planned schedules, or after any website or product revision.
  • Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups.
  • Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Confer with management and development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
  • Collaborate with management or users to develop e-commerce strategies and to integrate these strategies with web sites.
  • Establish appropriate server directory trees.
  • Recommend and implement performance improvements.
  • Have a working knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and traffic measurement.

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED: Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP.
  • All websites are HTML based and NoWordPress or related technologies are employed within our web properties.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • This is an on-location position at our headquarters in Jupiter, Florida.
  • Experience: Relevant: 3+ years (Required)
  • Education: Bachelor’s or higher (Required)
