This paid, onsite internship is posted for the Summer of 2026, estimated start date would be on or shortly after May 1, 2026.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Marketing Director in the preparation of materials, and provide marketing and administrative support of Bank departments, programs, and initiatives.
- Provide assistance with the preparation of promotional materials, maintaining stock, and delivering of such materials for Branch promotion administration.
- Provide support in processing mailings, and assistance in writing correspondence for ad-hoc, serial and in-branch mailing programs.
- Provide assistance in designing and writing of direct mail pieces, email marketing content, brochures, and other collateral as needed.
- Assist with creation and maintenance of website and social media content.
- Assist with coordination of bank events, working with branch managers and employee volunteers (grand openings, ribbon cuttings, parades, cookouts, school events, etc)
- Performs and assists with other marketing and administrative related duties and special projects and events as required.
- Ability to think both creatively and analytically.
- Must show an aptitude to learn and work with databases.
- Must possess proven and polished writing skills; organizational skills; and communications skills.
- Must have a strong attention to detail; and possess and demonstrate excellent proofreading and writing abilities.
- Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of Bank Management and Directors
- Must exhibit an understanding of, and compliance with, applicable federal and state banking laws and regulations.
Level of Education, Experience or Equivalent: Current student enrolled in a Marketing program or related field. Knowledge of Banking industry preferred, but not required.
