Overview Product Designer, Vice President – Native Mobile, Brooklyn, NY, United States. Shape the future of the JPMorgan Chase employee experience as a product designer, driving impact through our internal native app channel. As a Product Designer and Vice President in Employee Experience (EX) at JPMC, you will play a crucial role in transforming the global employee experience through our internal mobile channel. Your extensive experience as a senior individual contributor will be key in creating and delivering exceptional design work that aligns with employee needs and business requirements, while also enhancing the overall maturity of the Product Design practice across our design organization. Your ability to influence and develop Product Design strategy is essential in driving towards optimal outcomes. You will achieve this by demonstrating excellent collaboration across Product, Engineering, Accessibility, and Research, while maintaining a growth mindset and being a team player.

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role. Responsibilities

Develop and execute design/research strategies for complex projects and ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs across multiple product areas

Diagram service flows and product features, design wireframes, and prototype interactions for key touchpoints as you lead end-to-end design initiatives within a specific domain

Devise Product Design strategies that help translate long-term design vision into what can be delivered today while navigating complex tech stacks

Champion consistency and a high level of UI/visual design craft across the mobile team, ensuring quality of delivery and raising standards

Bring mobile design thinking and service thinking frameworks to all touchpoints across the employee experience

Contribute to, champion, and help create standards and patterns featured in the Employee Experience Design System

Role-model inclusive design practices and accessibility guidelines, mentor junior designers and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user experience design into product development processes for seamless, customer-centric solutions

Analyze market trends, gather feedback from user research, and learn from data insights to inform design decisions across platforms and channels

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in user experience design or similar roles

A proven track record of creating exceptional, world-class digital experiences (low and high-fidelity) that have driven business success and matured design practice

Experience in inclusive design and accessibility guidelines, with ability to incorporate diverse perspectives into design solutions

iOS and Android design experience with strong understanding of their guidelines, patterns and frameworks; ability to communicate with engineers to ensure proper implementation

Strong visual design execution; attention to detail

Experience leading or contributing to the creation and maintenance of leading design systems

Ability to create design strategies that move from long-term vision to immediate improvements

Excellent communication of thinking and design decisions; able to align stakeholders to the journey

Proficient in Figma and other design tools; ability to elevate team usage of these tools

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor’s Degree in design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, HCI, User Experience Design) or equivalent work experience

iOS and Android design experience with intermediate to advanced understanding of guidelines and frameworks

Highly proficient in Figma

Understanding of technical constraints and opportunities; familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and mobile UI standards
