The Company is in search of a Vice President, Public Relations to spearhead its rapid response and media engagement strategy. The successful candidate will be a strategic, mission-driven leader, serving as the organization's primary spokesperson in critical moments. This role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in media relations, strategic communications, and rapid response, particularly in high-stakes environments. The VP will be responsible for overseeing all external communications related to policy, advocacy, and research initiatives, ensuring that the company's values are authentically represented. They will also be tasked with building and managing a national network of clean energy influencers and allied organizations to amplify the company's message and defend against misinformation. Applicants for the Vice President, Public Relations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred. A minimum of 15 years' experience in media relations, strategic communications, or public affairs is required, with a strong background in crisis communications and rapid response operations.
